The PCM baseball team struggled down the stretch in a non-conference 13-0 home loss against Bondurant-Farrar Friday night.

The Mustangs and Blue Jays held each other scoreless in the first two innings, but the visiting team plated three runs in the third inning and never looked back. Bondurant-Farrar added six runs in the fifth and four runs in the sixth to drop PCM to 10-9 on the season. Kaleb Devries and Jacob Wendt recorded the lone hits on the night for the Mustangs. Trenner Van Dyke took the loss on the mound in four innings of work, while Nick Farver threw the final two innings in relief.

PCM will try to bounce back from Friday night’s loss on Monday, hosting Perry in a 7:30 p.m. Heart of Iowa Conference game.
