Indianola head baseball coach Jon Fitzpatrick is happy with where the program is at after his three years at the helm, that included all three seasons over 26 wins or more, a state tournament appearance, and multiple all-state selections. Coach Fitzpatrick said after the teams season came to a close, he feels good about the future of the program.

“It’s been awesome. The kids have been absolutely amazing, the families are 100% supportive, and it’s been great. I think we have definitely left the program in a better spot, not that it was in a negative spot, but after three years we have progressively gotten better. I’m just pleased with the work the program has done.”

Coach Fitzpatrick accepted a position as Principal of Emerson Elementary, and due to district administration policy will no longer be head baseball coach.
