The PCM football team will travel to Nevada tonight to take on the 3A #3 ranked Cubs.

The Mustangs fell to 1-1 last week after a devastating loss to Pella Christian in double overtime. Despite the loss, PCM running back Adrein Robbins played the game of his life rushing for 231 yards and three touchdowns. Robbins now has 322 yards on the season averaging over five yards a carry and is paramount to the Mustang offense.

PCM will now face an even tougher opponent this week when they travel to Nevada to take on a Cubs team ranked third in the state. Nevada is 2-0 on the season after wins against West Marshall and Roland-Story and have only allowed seven points combined in the two games.

PCM Head Football Coach Greg Bonnett knows the task ahead for his team.

“I don’t really see any weaknesses out of them, I really don’t. Offense and defense from top to bottom they got good athletes. They have guys that look really good in uniforms and can make plays. They return a lot from last year and they were pretty dang good last year. It’s going to be a good physical matchup.”

Tonight’s game against Nevada starts at 7:30 pm.
