
The Pleasantville volleyball team picked up two wins Thursday night in the Clarke Triangular against Mount Ayr and Clarke.
The Trojans swept Mount Ayr 2-0 in the first match of the night. Pleasantville won the first set 25-18 and defeated the Raiders in commanding fashion in the second set 25-11. In the second match of the night, the Trojans defeatedClarke 2-1. Pleasantville got off to a slow start in the nightcap, dropping the first set 19-25. The Trojans bounced back in the second and third sets, to take the match with 25-22 and 17-15 set wins to secure the victory.
With their two wins Thursday night, Trojans improved to 7-4 overall on the season and will be back in action at the Chariton tournament on Saturday.
