
A longtime Indianola Police Department employee is retiring after 26 years of serving the community. The department said in a release Sergeant Scott Dwyer is retiring and left a lasting impact on the department, is credited with saving multiple lives over the years, on top of responding to calls that were physically, mentally, and emotionally draining. Sergeant Dwyer has had a hand in training and mentoring a large number of the officers and staff that work at the Indianola Police Department, and the IPD wants to wish him well in retirement.
