Pella Christian junior Alex Van Gorp was born with a heart disease, and recently underwent his fifth open heart surgery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. To help the Van Gorp family, the Pella Christian football team held a fundraiser for them at their game against Pleasantville. Alex and his parents Dawn and Duane spoke with Tyler Crabb about the support they’ve received and about Alex’s journey living with this disease.
