Two local area schools turned in their list of candidates that have filed to run for their respective school board races in the November 7th election on Friday.

At Pleasantville, four candidates filed to fill three at-large positions on the school board. Candidates running for Pleasantville School Board are:

Mark Core
Carol Beier
Whitney Holz
Ammie McGraw

At PCM, 11 candidates filed for five open district positions on the school board. All five districts open will be contested and the candidates in those races are:

District 2:
Scott Grass
Rebecca Bartelma
Greg Ingle

District 3:
Brent Fridley
Kelsey Fiorentin

District 4:
Rod DeHaai
Arica Brinegar

District 5:
Jeremy St. Peter
Brandon Teeple

District 7:
