Norwalk residents Jeff Kluever and Jenny Smith were included in the Leadership Iowa class of 2023-2024.

Leadership Iowa is an issues awareness program that promotes leadership and civic responsibilities in Iowa. The program has eight monthly sessions where participants receive experiences and insights into opportunities and challenges in the state. Forty individuals statewide are selected each year to participate in the program that runs from October through June. Kluever works for MidAmerican Energy in Adel, while Smith works at MHCS CPA in West Des Moines.
