If the U.S. Congress fails to come to a funding agreement by this Saturday, all campgrounds and day use areas at Lake Red Rock operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close. A shutdown would begin on Sunday, meaning any visitors currently camping would need to vacate their site by 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 1st. This would impact any operations of the federal government at the lake.
