The Knoxville School Board received a presentation regarding enrollment numbers at their meeting Monday night. 

According to the presentation given by Superintendent Cassi Pearson, there are currently 1,730 students being served by the Knoxville Community School District. The data given showed 228 students that live within the district are open enrolled out and attending another district, and that 127 of those students have never attended Knoxville. The final part of the presentation was regarding the certified enrollment funding formula. 

The school board also received a presentation from the Director of Teaching and Learning regarding state resource adoption for the district. The board received information regarding the data from the instructional support levy, and were shown a graphic with the priorities from the district’s strategic plan. The meeting ended with a closed session regarding discussion relating to the purchase or sale of specific real estate.
