The Indianola Public Library had their busiest year ever in 2023, which included multiple new programs for kids, teens, and adults, as well as new items to check including books, games, and household items. Director Michele Patrick tells KNIA News the number of people using the library was more than ever before.

“It was a fantastic year for the library. We had a record number of attendance in programs, record number of checkouts, and people coming into the building. It was a very busy place in 2023.”

Patrick said she wants to thank the community for continuing to support the library and is looking forward to 2024.
