The Marion County Conservation Department will be collecting discarded Christmas trees in Knoxville tomorrow. The Conservation Department requests that trees be placed on the curb before 8:00 am, as pickup routes will only be driven once. Trees should be free of all decorations, tree stands, metal fasteners, tinsel and should not be in plastic bags. There is a Christmas tree drop-off site located near the entrance of Marion County Park now through January 15th. All trees will be used for wildlife cover and fisheries habitats in conservation areas.
