The Pleasantville girls basketball team will host Van Buren County in the first round of Class 2A Region 6 regional play.

The Trojans are coming off a 52-19 loss to Interstate 35 on Tuesday night to end their regular season with a 6-15 overall record. Pleasantville will now host the 6-15 Warriors who are coming off a 53-48 win over Cardinal on Tuesday. The Trojans have been led in scoring all season by junior Joelle Johnson who is averaging 20.8 points per game but due to injury, Johnson has missed the last several games and will not play tonight.

Tip off for tonight’s game in Pleasantville is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
