The Simpson basketball teams host senior day today, competing against the Duhawks of Loras for a basketball doubleheader for the second time this week.

The Storm women fell to the Duhawks on Monday 83-75, outplaying Loras for three of the four quarters but the 31-15 deficit after the first quarter was too much to overcome. Simpson has clinched a spot in the American Rivers Conference tournament, but will need to work to get a home contest as they are currently in fifth place.

The Storm men also fell to Loras on Monday, and are eliminated from a conference tournament position with a loss, as they are currently behind sixth-placed Buena Vista by two games with only two games remaining. The Storm played the Duhawks tough in the first half only trailing by a point at halftime, but were outscored 50-33 in the second half.
The games will be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 1:45, with tip-off at 2pm.
