
Nine Pella and Pella Christian girls basketball players received All-Little Hawkeye Conference honors this season.
Pella senior Kennedy Van Vark was a unanimous first team selection, after averaging 12.7 points and 2.3 steals per game. Joining Van Vark on the first team was senior Abby Warner, who led the LHC in steals per game with four. Senior Tristan Gordon represented Pella on the all-conference second team, while senior Sophia Reynolds and sophomore Katie Scheckel were selected as honorable mentions.
Pella Christian freshman Rachel Kacmarynski was a first team all-conference selection, after averaging a double-double with 10.9 points and rebounds per game. Rachel’s older sister and junior Faith Kacmarynski represented Pella Christian on the all-conference second team, while senior Karis Fikkert and freshman Chloe Snyder were named honorable mentions.
The Pella girls finished the season with a 16-7 overall record, while the Pella Christian girls ended the season with a 10-13 mark.
