The Indianola boys basketball team was a much-improved shooting team during the course of the season, however it is an area they will need to improve if they want to compete in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Indians shot 30% from long range over the course of the season, and lost one of their top sharpshooters in senior Jack Bingaman to graduation. However the Indians do return their top two volume shooters in freshman Easton McGraw who shot 38.8% from deep, and leading scorer George Blake who shot 33.3% from beyond the arc. Indianola ranked 6th in the Little Hawkeye Conference in shooting percentage, and were last in attempts.
