A contingent of Pella track and field athletes that remains limited by spring break will wrap up indoor competition this week close to home at the Central College Indoor Invitational. The Dutch boys will compete on Friday at noon and the girls on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Kuyper Fieldhouse. This marks the final preseason opportunity for any athletes home for spring break before the season shifts outdoors on March 25th. Pella has had plenty of early season success, including Drake Relays Blue Standard qualifying times for Marissa Ferebee in the 3000 meters and Nathan Vander Waal in the 1600 meters. The Dutch boys were 2nd and the girls tied for 3rd at the IATC Indoor Championships in Ames last week.
