Nine girls are out for the Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad and for the first time in several years, Coach Cam Parker has the depth to at least try to put together a shuttle hurdle team. He says in the past many of the girls have been unwilling to try hurdles, but his seniors are just the leaders he wants, but they are a part of what he hopes is a solid foursome in hurdles.

Parker: “Abby Milliage, Katra Sterner both were sprinters for last year, and hurdles. I was happy to have a hurdles team. They will be anchors of our team this year, and they look to maybe challenge for a hurdles championship in the conference this year.”

Parker adds he has a couple of distance runners from cross country that are on the team. The Sabers will open the season in a couple weeks.
