
The Indianola City Council meets in regular and a study session Monday evening. The council will first meet in a study session to receive a presentation regarding the FY25 budget.
After the study session, the council will consider the public hearing date for the proposed property tax levy on April 1st. The council will also consider a resolution regarding the issuance of $3,750,000 General Obligation Bonds or Capital Loan Notes, in order to provide funds to pay the costs of equipping the fire, police, and street departments, including acquisitions of various vehicles, ambulances and ambulance equipment.
The council will also hold a public hearing regarding an application for a right-of-way vacation and conveyance of a portion of alley located east of the 100 block of South 1st Street and west of the 100 block of South Jefferson Way, before going into closed session to discuss litigation and the purchase or sale of real estate.
The study session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
