LifeServe Blood Center is seeking community members to help with the growing need for blood products in hospitals. 

LifeServe Blood Center provides blood products to 161 hospitals primarily in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota and Director of Public Relations and Marketing Shay Willis says that they aim to make the process of donating as easy as possible to meet the needs of those they serve.

“We work really hard to make blood donation convenient and easy for people, because the need for blood donations is great. We actually say that we need 200,000 community members to donate each year to meet the needs of our hospital patients, and that less than 3% of the eligible population actually gives. So, there truly is always a need.”
