The Indianola girls and boys tennis teams were in action Friday, with the Indians girls winning the Warren County rivalry over Norwalk 6-5, and the boys splitting a triangular falling to Urbandale 8-3 but defeating Lincoln 10-1.

The girls saw wins in singles play at #2 singles by Keely Greubel in a third set tiebreaker, then at #4 and #5 singles by Zoey Belt and Ceris Askelson in straight sets to tie the score at 3-3 going into doubles action. The Indians would get wins from the pairings of Greubel/Maci Lerseth, Zoey Belt/Paige Dahl, and Addie Wangler/Hailey Woerdeman to finish out the win. The Indians are now 2-2 on the season and will host Nevada on Monday.

The Indians boys fell to Urbandale to start the day, getting a win at #3 singles by Justus Woell, and the doubles pairings of Michael Rothchild/Bryson Rehmeier and Seb Cooper/Thomas DeWall. Against Lincoln, the Indians dominated getting wins from Rehmeier, Woell, Nate Winjum, Eli Chadwick, and Seb Cooper in singles, with the pairings of Rothchild/Rehmeier, Woell/Winjum, Chadwick/Tate Dales, Blake Byers/Ben Mahlstadt, and Cooper/DeWall all finding victories. Indianola is now 4-4 on the season, and travels to Newton on Tuesday.
