Planting season in south central Iowa has begun and with that means the return of large farm machinery to area highways and rural roads. Justin Huebner with Two Rivers Cooperative reminds drivers that during planting season, they should be cautious of slower moving farm machinery when traveling.

“For the general public, we always try to stress to be patient and take your time. There’s going to be slow, I mean it’s Iowa, there’s going to be slow traffic on the roads between all the equipment that’s out there. And so, it might not be as fast of a trip as you want it to be, but ultimately, in order for it to be safe we need to slow down and make sure that we’re paying attention to what is going on around us and try to be as safe as possible.”
