The Clay Township Fire and Rescue Department will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday.

The menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, milk, orange juice and coffee. A free will donation will be held at the breakfast, and Assistant Fire Chief Zac Green says all proceeds will be used to help replace damaged and outdated hoses and self contained breathing apparatuses, which are both crucial to keeping the community safe.

“This is equipment that we’ve been needing for a long time and it’s also equipment that gives back to the community as well. So, it’s helping us to keep us protected on scene but it also helps those that were trying to help as well.”

Clay Township Fire and Rescue’s pancake breakfast will be held at the fire station in Tracy from 7-10 am on Saturday.
