The Indianola girls track and field team won the Norwalk Invitational at Norwalk High School Thursday evening, while the girls soccer team fell to Des Moines Christian 7-1.

Winners for the Indians track squad included Josie McGraw in the 100m Dash and 100m Hurdles, Jordyn Brown in the 800m, Michaela Appel in the 1500m, Leah Hartford in the 3000m, the 4x400m Relay, and Madi Grover in the Long Jump. The Indians next hit the track on Thursday in the state qualifier at Waukee Northwest.

The Indianola girls soccer team fell to the Lions in non-conference action. Remy Sivertsen scored the goal assisted by Lauren Philippi. The Indians fall to 5-8 on the season, and travel to Carlisle tomorrow.
