One of the largest Friday crowds in recent festival history took part in the festivities that featured both an afternoon and evening parade, entertainment, and a second crowning of Queen Mia Andringa.
The evening concluded with Feesthouden and the state champions from Pella Jazz I and fireworks after the lighted parade.
