Marion County Development announced last week that Christopher Watkins has joined their staff as the new Assistant Director. 

This is a new position with the department as the county works to elevate economic activity. Watkins previously served as the Executive Director for Lucas County Development for the past 6 years. Watkins says that he’s thrilled to have the opportunity to work in Marion County and alongside Executive Director Carla Eysink.

“I’m very excited to be here and excited to work with Carla. She is well known in the industry and she has oodles of experience, so I’m very excited. There’s great opportunities in Marion County that I’m excited to learn about and grow.”
