New Pella Police Officer Calvin Wilner was sworn in at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. He is a 2024 graduate of Central College and will be attending the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in August. He joined Mayor Don DeWaard for a brief ceremony at the beginning of the session.
