The #10 ranked PCM softball team fell to #9 ranked Cardinal 7-1 on the road Friday night. 

The comets had a slight 3-1 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, but exploded for four runs to break open the game. PCM’s lone run of the game was scored in the fifth inning from a Camden Webb RBI. Rylee Parsons pitched four innings for the Mustangs giving up five hits and recording five strikeouts while Webb pitched two innings giving up four hits. The Mustangs had five total hits on the night. After the loss PCM falls to 17-3 overall and will next compete on Monday against South Hamilton.
