The PCM baseball team defeated Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in the first round of Class 2A Substate 6 on Saturday night.

The Mustangs defeated the Rockets 7-1 to advance to the substate quarterfinals on Tuesday. PCM will now face the 29-4 Des Moines Christian Lions Tuesday night to try and advance to the substate semifinals. Tuesday’s game at Des Moines Christian will start at 7:00 pm.
