Nominations are currently being taken by Indianola Hometown Pride for the Grand Marshall of the Celebrate Indianola Parade later this month. The criteria for selecting the Grand Marshall includes:
-Nominee will be selected on the basis of his/her contributions to the quality of life in Warren County, through: civic and/or social services; humanitarianism; personal achievements in the areas of the arts, sports, etc.; or based on the distinction that he/she has brought to Warren County resulting from achievements elsewhere.
-Nominee should be a current or long term past resident of Warren County
-Nominee must be willing to act as Grand Marshal.
-Nominees must be willing and able to attend the Celebrate Warren County Parade on July 27th, 2024. The parade line up is at 10 am.
The Grand Marshal as well as the nominator will be notified by midnight Wednesday, July 24th. Find more information about the nomination process below.
