Results from a countywide Community Health Assessment survey in Jasper County will be shared at a town hall meeting Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. till noon at the Newton DMACC Campus. The survey is part of a collaborated effort by the Jasper County Health Department, MercyOne Newton Medical Center, and numerous community partners to develop a 2025 – 2029 Jasper County Community Health Assessment. Jasper County Health Department Director Becky Pryor says they received 373 surveys that featured questions related to health needs in Jasper County. At tomorrow’s town hall meeting, Pryor says the goal is to get more input from residents. 

“We want input from everyone. It’s good to hear what the issues are and what the gaps in services are for sure. One thing I think we do really well in Jasper County is collaboration with community partners.”

The town hall meeting will be held in the large conference room at the DMACC Newton Campus.
