
The Indianola boys swimming welcomes Des Moines East to the Indianola Wellness Campus, and the Indianola basketball teams welcome Pella to Indianola High School in Little Hawkeye Conference action tonight.
The boys swimmers are fresh off of a competitive meet with multiple top-five finishes at Grinnell over the weekend where they matched up with many of the top swimmers from around the state, and have moved up to #26 in the state power rankings. Action starts at 5:30pm.
The Indianola basketball teams will try to get back in the win column after both teams fell to Dallas Center-Grimes in a competitive doubleheader on Friday. The Indians girls will play their seventh straight ranked opponent in #9 in class 4A Pella and will need to up their scoring output, only climbing above 40 points once in their last eight games. The Indians boys are 2-2 in conference play and will try to climb the standings against a Pella team that has won eight in a row.
The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 5:45pm, with tipoff at 6pm.
