The Knoxville Girls Wrestling Squad claimed 5th place at the Ballard Women’s Duals on Monday night going 2-1 in bracket action. The Panthers fell in the 1st round to West Marshall 42-33. Brynlee Brooks and Laila Pedicini recorded pins for Knoxville. In the consolation semi-final, Knoxville defeated Ballard 48-30 with Serenity Turner and Andie Branson getting pin wins, and in the final match Knoxville claimed 5th place with a 48-35 win over Southeast Polk with Pedicini, Molly Finnegan, and Amiah Keith recording pins. Knoxville will head to the Pella Triangular on Thursday.
