
The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Earlham tonight for a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Trojan girls are 9-3 this season and coming off a dominating 57-23 win over Interstate 35 Friday night as the Cardinals are 4-6 overall and lost to Des Moines Christian 61-32 in their last contest. Pleasantville has been led in scoring this season by senior Joelle Johnson who is averaging 18.8 points per game and is coming off a 40 point game Friday night which broke the school record for points in a game.
The Trojan boys are 5-4 this season and beat Interstate 35 80-42 on Friday night. The Cardinal boys are 7-3 overall and are coming off a 62-58 win over PCM Monday night. The Pleasantville boys have been led in scoring this season by sophomore Braylon Bingham who is averaging 26.3 points per game. Tonight’s girls game starts at 6:00 pm with the boys game to follow.
