The City of Indianola and Indianola City Council are taking applications for those who want to fill the vacant Mayor position. The application includes a 500 word essay on why you want to be mayor, why you believe you are qualified to be the mayor, and how you will contribute to keep moving Indianola forward in a positive way. Applicants will be asked to speak with the Council in an interview during the City Council meeting on February 18th, with the term running through December 31st, 2025.
