Next Friday February seventh it is the 20th Edition of the Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions. Fred Roberts from the class of 1926, Brad Davis from the class of 1999, Zach Mahoney from the class of 2000, and Rick Kaster from the class of 1981 will be inducted in two different ceremonies. The first will be at a luncheon at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and the other is in between the Knoxville vs Albia basketball games that night. Hall of Fame Committee Member Joe Cunningham tells KNIA/KRLS Sports both events are great, but he encourages everyone to come to the luncheon.

Cunningham: “We introduce each of the four inductees and let them speak at the podium. We really enjoy that time and encourage you to come to that event, because you get to shake their hand and hear them speak.”

Tickets can be purchased at Cunningham Financial Services at 828-6173 or stop by at 305 East Main Street in Knoxville. The Luncheon will begin at noon. The Induction ceremony in between games will be carried live on 95.3 KNIA.
