
The PCM girls basketball team defeated Nevada Friday night on the road for their eighth straight win as the boys fell short in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.
The #9 Mustang girls picked up the 61-27 win over the Cubs after leading the entire contest. PCM was led in scoring by Lila Milani who had 18 points and Libby Winters who had 17. The PCM girls improve to 17-2 overall and 13-1 in the conference.
The Mustang boys dropped their contest to the Cubs 55-36. PCM just trailed by three points at half but the Cubs pulled away in the second half after a strong offensive performance. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Cuter VandeLune who had nine points. The PCM boys fall to 8-10 on the season.
The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on Tuesday at South Hamilton and the PCM boys wrestling team will compete today at Fairfield.
