
Serenity Turner dominated her way to a 2nd State Girls Wrestling Meet appearance as she became the first girl under the Knoxville banner to qualify for a state meet. The first two years, Turner had wrestled under the Pella banner in a sharing agreement between the Red Rock Rivals. Turner won all of her matches in winning the title in the 105 pound weight class in a combined time of 1:29. Other place winners for Knoxville were, Andie Branson at 140 pounds was 4th, Amiah Keith was 4th at 170 pounds and Mariah Ripperger was 3rd at 235 pounds. As a team the Panthers finished 4th. Turner will advance to the State Meet this week.
