Wrapping up regular season action, the Pella Christian bowling teams were swept in a makeup meet against Gilbert Monday afternoon at Perfect Games in Ames. After the original contests were postponed due to ice on December 14th, the Eagle boys fell in the rescheduled match 2423-2055, while the girls squad was defeated 1960-1641. Ethan Klaasen led the Pella Christian boys in the loss with a 2 game score of 309, followed by Nathan Brouwer at 307, Logan Nunnikhoven at 280, and Evan DeJong at 270. The Pella Christian girls were led on the day by Bella Pu at 281, followed by Macy VanDerHart at 242, Sophie Guo at 209, and Hope Spencer at 206. With the losses, the Eagle boys fell to 1-10 overall on the season while the girls dropped to 0-11. The Pella Christian bowling teams now turn their attention to the Two Rivers Bowling Conference meets at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa, with the girls meet taking place on Friday, February 14th and the boys following on Saturday, February 15th.
