Knoxville Hospital and Clinics has seen an 18% positive influenza rate hospital-wide over the past two weeks.

The 18% positive rate is for Influenza A. The hospital is also seeing a 4% rate for Influenza B, 6% for Covid, and 10% for strep B. According to statewide statistics presented by the hospital, statewide there is a 31.4% positive rate for Influenza and 7.1% rate for Covid in the most recent update. According to the same stats, the state started to see a rapid increase in Influenza cases beginning on the week of December 21st.
