The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Albia tonight for a non-conference varsity doubleheader.

The Trojan girls are 11-8 overall this season and are coming off a 48-36 win over Chariton on Saturday. Pleasantville will now look to win their third straight game against a 15-3 Blue Demons squad who has won five straight. Pleasantville has been led in scoring this season by Joelle Johnson who is averaging 17.9 points per game.

The Trojan boys are 9-8 this season and are coming off a 71-52 win over Woodward Academy on Tuesday night. The Albia boys are 14-2 this year and have won six straight. The Pleasantville boys are led in scoring by Braylon Bingham who averages 27.8 points per game. Tonight’s girls game in Albia starts at 6:15 pm with the boys game to follow.
