The demolition of a city-owned property that is a former church will begin next week. According to the City of Pella, the public parking lots near 609 East 1st Street will be closed to the public starting on Monday. The closures are expected to last several days while a contractor completes the planned demolition of the old Second Christian Reformed Church facility.
