The Simpson College women’s wrestling team captured a third place team finish at the Quad Cities D3 Invite behind three championship finishes from Paige Gershmel, Annelise Obermark, and Keeley Kehrli.

The Storm narrowly missed runner-up honors, finishing with 146.5 team points to trail Wis.-Stevens Point with 147.0 points. Wartburg won the team race with 182.5 points.

Gershmel and Obermark both won their fourth tournament titles of the year while adding to impressive double-digit win streaks. Kehrli cruised through her bracket to secure her second championship of the season while becoming the second Storm wrestler ever to reach 30 wins in a season.
