Competing at the Two Rivers Bowling Conference Meet in Oskaloosa Friday, the Pella Christian girls bowling team finished in ninth place with a team score of 1545. The Eagle girls were led in the meet by the trio of Macy VanDerHart, Sophie Guo and Bella Pu. VanDerHart was the top finisher placing 38th with a score of 360, followed by Guo in 39th at 353 and Pu in 40th at 333. Hope Spencer wasn’t far behind the trio in 43rd place with a score of 321, while AnnaBelle Carter rounded out the Eagles lineup in 47th with a score of 314. The Pella Christian girls bowling team returns to action on Monday for the State Qualifying meet in Ottumwa. The Eagles boys bowling team was scheduled to compete in the Two Rivers Bowling Conference meet today, but it was postponed until next Friday due to impending weather. The P.C. boys will next be in action on Tuesday for their State Qualifying meet in Ottumwa.
