Knoxville Coach Joel Keady told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team took a couple shots from Grinnell then refocused and played better in the second half.
Keady: “It was a really good experience to have to fight through that and make adjustments on the fly and to run their stuff was difficult during scout and they really took it to us in the first half.”
Landon Norris scored 29 points for the Panthers and also went 6/6 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter to salt the game away. Knoxville is now 21-0 on the season and will begin its journey to Wells Fargo Arena next Monday with a first round substate game against Mount Pleasant.
