The Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization’s (KRCO) 13th annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday.
The event will be held at Dyer Hudson Hall and doors will open at 4:00 pm with a silent auction starting when doors open. There will be a live auction at 6:30 pm and a meal available for purchase between 5:00-8:00 pm. The organization is still accepting donations for the auction, and all funds raised from this event go to the promotion of safe racing through helping drivers with insurance, safety equipment, and injuries. KRCO President Brooke Nott says the event is a fun way to kick off the race season and encourages everyone to come out.
“It’s a great start to the season to come out and see your race family. What else are you doing on a Saturday night when it’s not warm and sunny out. Come out and eat some great food, see your race family, bid on some really neat and exciting die casts, vintage t-shirts, gift baskets, car parts. It’s just a way to kick off the race season.”
