A rich tradition of excellence continued in a record-breaking year at Pella High School for All-State recognition from the Iowa High School Speech Association.

The following entries earned the highest possible honor in high school speech, with seven total entries and 33 students reprsented:
Group Improv – Demuth/Spratt – performing
Group Improv – Podmolik/Butler – performing
Group Mime – The Prince and the Pauper – performing
TV News – TTNN (Toga Talk Nightly News) – performing
Group Improv – Williams/Richards – non-performing
Musical Theatre – Spongebob Squarepants – non-performing
Reader’s Theatre – The Distracted Scholar’s Guide to Literature and Drama – non-performing
