Animals who have special needs and are adoptable will be at a business in downtown Newton today to meet potential owners. Paws-N-Claws Iowa is hosting an adoption event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Earthwise Pet Store at 103 West Second Street North. Paws-N-Claws, which is located in Newton, aims to provide adoption opportunities for animals that have medical needs, behavioral challenges, or emotional trauma.
