The Indianola City Council approved a rezoning request from the Indianola Veterinary Clinic at their meeting last week, allowing for some expansion and ease of access along with the ongoing construction in that area. Interim City Manager Wade Wagoner tells KNIA News the rezoning includes combining lots and cleans up some zoning issues for the property. Wagoner said this will help the properties in that area continue growth for the city.
“That project includes an expansion of a parking lot and a second access from East Trail Ridge Avenue as well as some stormwater detention basins. Everyone has probably seen all the construction out there, this is the entrance to where the Emerald Bay Development where Kwik Star is proposed to go in. This was another easy one for the council, unanimous approval.”
