Both the instructors and performers of Pella High School’s dance team are part the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team, which is showcased during the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Girls State Basketball Tournament.

All dance teams represented are members of the Iowa State Dance Team Association, and the dancers were chosen based on ability, attitude, dedication, and leadership qualities from auditions held last fall.

Pella High School had eight dancers selected for the halftime show: Seniors Sietje Beukelman, Makenna Hall, Kelsey Lemke, and Ella Van Waardhuizen. Junior Becca Winegardner and Sophomores Sierra Leathers, Marley Lightkeeper, and Brooklyn Sorheim.

The pregame performance will include 50 dancers performing a patriotic salute choreographed by Pella Forte Coaches Rachael Wurr and Ella Jahner.
